  • Brief Description: According to the approved current Action Plan, Puerto Rico intends to undertake a Workforce Training Program (hereinafter, "the Program"). The focus of the Program is to prepare Puerto Rican residents with the skills required to gain employment in industries that will drive the Island's economy over the next decade.

The contract term will begin on June 27, 2022, until July 21, 2025. The contract amount will not exceed $150,000.00 ((150) displaced participants for four years, at a rate of $1,000.00 per person)) UEID: D85ZME5KK696.
  • National College of Business and Technology Company, Inc. (NUC University Caguas): The subcontractor will provide serve safe food manager workshop (food management safety course for the program), under the Workforce Training Program (WFT) of CDBG-DR. The contract term will begin on October 31, 2022, until July 21, 2025. The contract amount will not exceed $18,000.00 ((120) dislocated participants for four years, for $150.00 per person).   • Colegio Mayor de TecnologĂ­a: The subcontractor will provide Basic Conversational English Workshops, focused on the Tourism Industry, under the Workforce Training Program (WFT) of CDBG-DR. The contract term will begin on August 19, 2022, until July 21, 2025. The contract amount will not exceed $105,000.00 ((150) dislocated participants for four years; at a rate of $700,00 per person.
