  • Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Management, Economics, Accounting or Finance from a licensed and/or accredited educational institution. 2. Knowledge of the principles, methods and practices of monitoring and intervention of government programs. 3. Ability to detect programmatic and fiscal irregularities, to identify the causes of problems and failures and adopt effective solutions. 4. Performs interventions and monitoring of fiscal, administrative, and programmatic operations subsidized with federal funds and verifies compliance with federal and state regulations. 5. Ability to organize information and prepare clear and accurate reports. 6. Knowledge of modern management, interviewing, research and sampling principles and practices. 7. Be bilingual in the languages of English and Spanish.

This position is subject to Section 3 from the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Under Section 3, to the greatest extent feasible, job training, employment, contracting and other economic opportunities generated by certain HUD financial assistance shall be directed to low-and very low-income persons and businesses and should receive recruitment or contracting priority.
