  • Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or Chemistry from a licensed and/or accredited educational institution. Five (5) years of professional experience in the construction field or work related to environmental science, environmental protection, or enforcing environmental laws and regulations. SUBSTITUTION: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Biology, Engineering, or related fields from a licensed and/or accredited educational institution. Five (5) years of professional experience in construction or related work in environmental science, environmental protection, or enforcing environmental laws and regulations. -Or in lieu thereof Master's degree with a major in Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, Environmental Management, Environmental Management, Chemistry, Biology, Public Health, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields from a licensed and/or accredited educational institution and three (3) years of professional experience in work related to the area of environmental sciences, environmental protection or in the enforcement of environmental laws and regulations.

This position is subject to Section 3 from the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Under Section 3, to the greatest extent feasible, job training, employment, contracting and other economic opportunities generated by certain HUD financial assistance shall be directed to low-and very low-income persons and businesses and should receive recruitment or contracting priority.
